After a four-year break, the Black Eyed Peas released The E.N.D. album in 2009. this certainly has nothing to do with an "end" for the band. The are now touring across Europe with their The E.N.D. World tour 2010 and will be in Barcelona on 3rd July.
Have you heard of the hip hop group's members ar will.i.an, apl.de.ap, TAboo and fergie.
Taboo, will.i.am, and apl.de.ap have been together since 1995. fergie joined* them in 2002.
Style And Society
They play a mixture of hip hop, rap, pop and electro. But they are different from other hip hop groups. They don't do "gangsta rap", they don't sing about guns* or violence and tney are not fans of bling-bling. Their songs are often about problems in society.
A Group That Takes Risks
The "Peas" are all great rappers and fantastic dancers, but Fergie is the "star" of the show. It was after she joined the group that they had their first major hit, the single "Where Is the Love?" from the 2003 album Elephunk.
TAboo says: " We took a risk and that's what Black Eyed Peas have always done.
We took a risk by being a hip hop group that was multi-cultural. We're best friens, but the fact that we have a Filipino, a Mexican kid and a black kid in the group was a risk. We took a risk by putting * Fergie in the group".
The E.N.D. Isn't The End!!!!!!!!
Their latest* album, the E.N.D., is the Peas' most commercial album. It is a party album about love, youth* and having a goog time. It has great beats* and lots of energy. When you watch the videos for the singles "Boom Boom Pow" or "I Gotta Feeling", you want to dance like the Peas"
The E.N.D. means "the energy never Dies*". And The E.N.D. World Tour 2010 that the grop are doing around North America, Canada and now Europe, proves that the band still has plenty of energy.
